HINTS

on how to have your letter  published

1) Do NOT send an attachment; type your letter directly into e-mail or copy-and-paste to the e-mail. (Most newspapers no longer open attachments from unknowns.)

2) Be VERY brief. You have a better chance of getting into the News-Press if you adhere to their under-200-words rule. For the New York Times, stay under 150!

3) Mention the article you're referring to, and the date published.

4) If you want to shock readers into noticing what is happening, do it with the IDEA, not with language your mother would have washed your mouth out with soap for saying.
